PDF-Native Transactional Print
WML presents a PDF-native transactional printing solution. All forms are uploaded in PDF format and the system outputs PDFs, which are then converted into PostScript or PCL for your printer, or directly emailed for electronic delivery.

WML's PDF based solution
WML's transactional print offering is unique because it merges form and overlay in PDF format before it is transferred to the printer.
This means that you can archive and electronically deliver documents, as well as printing them direct to white paper in colour or monochrome.
Implement your transactional documents with a truly modern transactional print solution from WML.
Benefits of WML solutions
- No difficult-to-edit PCL forms or macros.
- All output is in PDF format, allowing you to migrate easily to electronic document delivery
- Browser-based WYSIWYG template manager
- Browser based logic manager
Transactional printing with PDF
Most competing form and overlay systems merge forms and overlay data at the printer meaning your only delivery option is to print and mail. Our transactional print solutions merge PDF forms with overlay data before the printer, so you have the option to print and mail OR deliver electronically, as well as being able to archive your documents in a viewable format.
Our transactional print system is a standard feature of PdfPlus and DataGateway. PdfPlus is aimed at organisations with distributed local desktop printing (think retail chains with many stores printing credit agreements and invoices). DataGateway is designed for organisations which need to achieve both transactional print from distributed applications as well as centralising their print to a single facility.
